I'm 13 (14 in feb) and i want a job!!!!! in UK?

I am 13 (14 in Feb) , i already have a free paper round. But the pay isnt very good and it takes over my life. I'm thinking about getting a saturday job at a hairdressers (sweeping floors, making tea yaddee yaddee yaa), is it legal for me to get one yet (or at 14)? If not could i get some other job? like at a cafe or something else, thannkyouuuuuuu!!!!!!!

Well- when ur 15 like me, u'll b able to have a PROPER job for 2 weeks, on wrk experence! But u have 2 wait till the very min when ur 16 and then you'll get a nation insurance num so you can get a big wage and a full time job!!! Cool huh!?

its is legal yes but your are limited to the hours and type of work u can do, shop work is fine tho

shop work or paper round for a daily paper that has to be paid for But when i was 13 I had to do a paper round because no shops or cafe's in my area like 13/14 yr olds workin in their shops mainly because of the hours your allowed to work

I know this isnt the best job but when i was your age i went to my local outdoor market and just walked around asking all the traders if they got any jobs and eventually someone said yeah and i was making 拢30-40 for doing a sat morning and sat afternoon. Try it you got nothing to lose and its good money for your age.

yes it is legal but there are some restrictions!!!

You are only allowed to work up to 4 hours a day!!!
( mon - fri)

You are allowed to work up to 6 hours on saturday!!!

it is already a good job for you , i think the most important thing is should have enough time for your assignment.

You'll be limited to what you can do, hours you can work and pay.

hi u can do part time work in big offices like the boy how brings food or some thing like that and you can only do limited to the hours and type of work ,you should see the job provides companies or see some one at your school
