(From Switzerland) How do you find a job near Philadelphia, PA that will sponsor you for a working visa?

I'm American, and my Swiss/French boyfriend (he has dual citizenship) wants to come live with me and work in the US. He'll graduate with a Bachelor's degree in History and Russian, and he has VERY little working experience under his belt. On the other hand, he's completely fluent in English and French, and is pretty good with German and Russian, and has excellent computer skills. We don't know how to go about finding him a job! Any suggestions?

Unless your boyfriend has some unusual skill that is in short supply in the United States, it won't be easy to get sponsorship. Generally speaking, the jobs filled with sponsored foreigners are either super high-tech (not just "good computer skills") or jobs like nannies and such that few Americans want to take.

But there is nothing to stop your boyfriend from applying for a visa the old-fashioned way: as an immigrant. Someone like him, with the skills to get a good job, plus a friend to take care of any emergency, is just the kind of person who is likely to get approved.

Good luck!!
Try to look for the company or try to log in to www.monster.com and look for jobs that will sponsor him.
