The UN should move to a neutral country, yes or no?

The UN is a powerless organisation, without any powers to enforce any resolutions they might have come up with, or enforce a peace truce between waring factions. Bush can just walk in there and denounce whatever matter or issue not in the interest of the American people. I beleive the UN sholud be based somewhere that is politically NEUTRAL, say in Zurich, Switzerland. Instead of having the almighty US admin. breathing down their shoulders. I know the US does most of the funding, but does that warrant its current behaviour with UN chief? Remember what Bush said candidly to Blair about Kofi's suggestions as to how to help stop the conflict in Lebanon? To me, Kofi's proposals and approach to the problem were more humane, than Bush's. Kofi wanted an immediate ceasefire on both sides and the sending of UN forces in southern Lebanon, while Bush would prefer the Israelis finish the job of eliminating Hezbollas out of there. Well, they are doing the job, with Bush's blessings.

Now I'm going back more than 40 years on this. I don't watch the stuff on TV today, so I don't know if it has changed.

I remember the old professional 'wrestling' on TV. There was always a 'good' guy and a 'bad' guy and a referee in the ring.

The good guy ALWAYS followed the rules.

The bad guy ALWAYS broke the rules.

The ref NEVER saw the bad guy break the rules, but would accuse the good guy of breaking them.

The UN is like the ref, less than useless. Unfortunately, their ineptitude and corruption are far more serious than the ref's scripted role.

I don't think the UN should move to a neutral country. They should move to the new tower that is going to be built to replace the World Trade Center in NYC. They should have to walk past the memorial to the victims of their ineptitude and corruption every time they come to work.

The main problem is UN's inability to enforce SC resolutions

And other problem is the Abuse of Veto power in the Security council.

If there were no Veto power, all the major conflicts would be over: Iran, Israel, and North Korea.
Ohhh please get that worthless organization outta New York. Its an embarrassment to have it located on American soil . It takes more than that bozo koffi getting in front of a camera and calling for peace .read a history book why don't you. Bowing down to terrorists and tyrants is a losing solution.
