Which career would allow me to earn a good income internationally - dental hygiene or perfusionist?

countries like england, austria, switzerland, canada.which would offer more in the areas like pay, job openings, etc.

You might as well ask if you should be a plumber or the President. Those two are so incredibly different.

However, a perfusionist would have a more ability to move to other countries, if they could transfer their certification, and if they could find an opening in a heart program. There is a definate need for qualified perfusionist, as vitually nobody has ever heard of the position. But by the same token, everyone has teeth, not everyone has heart surgery.

In my travels throughout other countries, I have found a significant need for dental hygienist, but I doubt they use them often.

What is a perfusionist?

Well there are soo many other profession which are potential of earning more..but if u wanna make a choice among the two options u told about..
then its definately perfusionist...coz its a niche area where theres hardly any competition and its easy for u to establish yourself...
one u get the recognition and reputation...money just flows....
i wish u good luck....

forget them both go on the game

Perfusionist.highly trained..........

would never go to a dentist in the UK and i live here now.

jobs tend to pay much the same regardless of where you are in the west. You need to be very well qualified otherwise getting work visas can be problematic. A big consulting firm like deloitte will let you move from country to country every year or so if you do a good job. There are also contract jobs listed on jobserve in russia and the middle east for which work permits are usually not a problem. I have never looked for hygenist jobs but I don't see why they wouldn't need them. If you want to make money and travel work for kbr or join the military.

Don't just think about the pay, think about the lifestyle you want to lead when you move to any of these countries. Find out about working hours, holidays etc before you decide - it's no good trying to experience life in a different country if you are working all the time.

perfusionist, not only do you work on CABG (heart cases) but can also be used on AAA, or intense belly cases when a lot of blood is going to be lost.
