Besides Clinton what Presidents have been Impeached?

The Boston Sunday Globe bannered 鈥淐linton is Impeached.鈥?The New York Times, perhaps moved by the president鈥檚 well-known perplexity with the copulative verb, shortened this to 鈥淐linton Impeached,鈥?but added a coast-to-coast subhead: 鈥淗e Faces Senate Trial, 2D in History; Vows To Do His Job Till Term鈥檚 鈥楲ast Hour.鈥欌€?(He did just that, pardoning a passel of crooks, including the world-class swindler Marc Rich then on the lam in Switzerland, but let me not wander鈥? If December 20, 1998, had heart-warming headlines, it had even better photographs.

Clinton was not impeached. Republican Neocons tried to impeach Bill Clinton, but never succeeded because there were no grounds for impeachment. Republican, Richard Nixon was impeached. Hopefully their leader, evil criminal George Bush will be impeached as well.

My friend, Slick Willie was indeed impeached. Impeachment is the TRIAL, not the removal from office. Ole Slick did commit impeachable offenses.

I want to know why Bush has not been impeached for sheer and utter incompetence.

Andrew Johnson. Teapot Dome scandal. He's the only other one, making Clinton the only elected President to be impeached.

Nixon would have been impeached, but resigned first.

None.He is the only one that faced impeachment. Something to be proud of isn't it.

Andrew Johnson was also impeached but, not convicted. Nixon is the only one who would have been convicted if he had not resigned.

Andrew Johnson and Richard Nixon would have been impeached but he resigned. I think you forgot a very important detail, Bill Clinton was found INNOCENT.

Since Clinton was acquitted, it suggests that the whole process was nothing but a witch hunt and should not have happened.
