Hiring hitmen in Russia?

One of my friends told me that one can easily hire a hitman from FSB or other Russian agencies and they'll do the job for you for $10,000. Is it possible? He went on to say that even if the hitman is caught you are not in trouble because you transfer money through numbered accounts in Switzerland. So, your name never pops up. I am scared. I don't think that friend of mine really likes me and boy, he looks one of those guys who'd do anything for money.

10K is pretty steep,I know people who'd do it for a lot less... or are you serious? Then I'd like to point out that:

1) I very much doubt that the russian security service does killing for hire.

2) Swiss bank accounts are quite traceable these days. Besides, the money has to come from somewhere to begin with.

Well if he invites you on a trip but only books a one-way ticket, take care...

Well, he doesn't sound like a very good friend, but it appears you're kinda confused. Unless your friend is, himself, an FSB or other type of Russian hitman, he'd have to pay, not receive, $10,000 to get the job done. If he is a hitman, I suppose he could go ahead and kill you, but who is going to pay him? If your "friend" has $10,000 and wants to spend it on a hitman to kill you, then you might have a problem. In that case, I'd tell him that you'll take $5,000 and agree to commit suicide or something.

Anyway, I think you'll be ok.

He's been watching too many movies. I can hire a local gang banger for less than a grand to do the same job.

The high priced hit man is a Hollywood myth. Most of the creeps that would do this, do it cheap.

If you "friend" tries transferring money thru Switzerland, he will find that it is easily traceable. Switzerland's reputation for secret numbered accounts is pretty exaggerated.

Don't let him scare you. Hope you don't live in Russia. But sounds a little illogical. So, don't worry to much.
