Are there any good paying jobs in brazil or spain? |
Are there any good paying jobs in brazil or spain? There are, however wages in both countries (especially Brazil) are much lower than in the US or Northern Europe. The best paying jobs tend to be in banking and consulting, especially with large international banks and consultancies (for example: Citibank, HSBC, RBS, McKinsey, Deloitte, Accenture, etc). These firms pay the closest to what one would get for the same work in the US or Northern Europe. Such jobs require fluency in the native language and English as well as a university degree and perhaps a master's degree. In Brazil, these jobs are especially hard to come by, as the Brazilian oligarchy is difficult to penetrate and generally guards the best jobs for other members of oligarch families. Moving to either of these countries as an expat is one way to break in, however it is difficult to find firms who will sponsor your work visa if you are a non-EU resident (in the case of Spain) or a non-Brazilian resident (in the case of Brazil). That said, living expenses are much lower in Brazil, and salaries for banking and consulting jobs are similar to those in Spain, and thus these people are relatively wealth by their country's standards and live quite comfortably. People with these jobs in Spain also live well, but have a hand to mouth existence, as there is very little saving in Spain. No, all Brazilians and Spanish are poor, DUH, what kind of question is that? |
