How do I move to Spain? |
Is there a way to meet nationals, and find jobs in Spain from the US? I am interested in living abroad. Any tips on where to start? To move to Spain, you'll need to a visa stating that you'll be in the country for more then 90 days, You'll have to apply for a visa through either the US embassy or consulate in Madrid or you can go on state department's website and it'll you Tall of the info you'll need on how to move to Spain. There is a large American community in Spain. so finding others who have moved there will be easy. Just search "Americans living in Spain", and there should be a wealth of info on how to connect with other Americans. But also experience the richness of Spanish culture as well, There are books that are available that give a wealth of sources on how to find jobs internationally. One good one is "International Job Seeker". That'll be a good source to aid in the search for a job in Spain. Oh yeah, make sure to keep your passport up to date, when you get your visa, make sure you know when it's time to renew it, otherwise you won't be able to return to the US until you receive a new one or be able to leave the US to return to Spain. |
