Is it practical to move to New Zealand? Do you have to have a special pass port? |
I would love to move there but I heard that you needed special permission from the Government saying that you had a trade or business to offer the economy. Is it possible to move there and find a job? If you wish to move to New Zealand permanently then you need to obtain a resident's visa. There are a number of categories under which a visa can be obtained. These are all listed on the NZ immigration website. The site gives comprehensive information about how you can make an application and what you need to do to qualify. If you have a particular skill or can contribute in some way to the growth of the country, dont have a criminal record and can pass the health checks, you will find it relatively easy to get a visa. New Zealand is a growing country that is underpopulated and in need of many skills. Look at the sites listed below for full information. Source(s): www.immigration.govt.nz www.seek.co.nz Just your normal passport is fine - you will need to check with the NZ consulate in your country however whether you will need a visa to enter. To get a job I am sure its like any other country where you are likely to get a temporary visa but will need to apply for a permanent residence or get sponsored by your company to stay. This is what you need to do for Australia. Depends on the relationship between NZ and your home country. NZ is an absolutely beautiful country - but depending on your chosen career you may not find jobs plentiful as its a very small country (which is its beauty). |
