How come other advanced nations get along just fine without illegal labor?

How do these jobs get done in countries like Japan, Switzerland, Iceland, or New Zealand, whose immigration policies are far stricter than ours (and two of which have higher GDP per capita than ours, in spite of having nothing like our size or natural resources)?

Aren't most of the workers (% wise) in crop picking, construction, hospitality, cleaning, and landscaping still American (although disappearing very quickly)?

Because in those nations the citizens do the work just like here,we did the work before the invasion and we would continue to do that work.
Many illegals are working in areas where they make $10 or more an hour,a lot of Americans would love thosejobs.

YES. It's propoganda that we need them as some sort of exclusive working class. We already have a working class and hard workers who are increasingly replaced by this fake necessary extra immigrant working class. It's a numbers game.

The farmers claiming their crops are rotting without illegals are too stupid to figure out ways of harvesting their crops with legal people or to cheap to pay people enough to get the job done. Rich people wanting cheaper labor want more labor supply for their demand.

Yes, of course Americans will do all the jobs that need doing, especially if they pay a living wage and welfare is not an option. But employers can hire illegals for less money and pass on the social costs to the taxpayer.

We could do the same. Our leaders and pro-amnesty people know this. The deliberate lack of enforcement of our immigration laws is being done to to get the North American Union established. We'll all be slave labor if they get their way.

Other nations get along fine without illegals because the argument that illegals are vital to the economy is a lie made up by illegals.

Maybe the corporate structure of other countries is not so greedy and just produces products instead of trying to rule the world.

In the other countries you mentioned, the citizens are better taken care of than we Americans are for the most part. Health care from birth to death for one thing.
In America the rule of thinking in industries is "faster & cheaper". If you can't run the industry cheaper here, then it will be moved to a country where cheap labor is abundant.
This can't be done in construction, houskeeping, etc...
So these markets are dependent on cheap labor(immagrants). This practice has been going on for ages, but has just recently become a political hot potatoe.
Many politicians wish the whole thing would go away, they have people in there states that are hitting them from both sides, many wanting to oust all illegals, others not wanting them not bothered because they are a source of cheap labor.
Even Rush Limbaugh, very conservitive, has stated the illigal allians will do types of work that Americans will not.
I thnk after all the dust has setteled, it will be politics as usual and nothing of substance will be changed.

Those nations have strict laws regarding illegal entry and they enforce them.
Employers there aren't tempted to hire illegals for fear of the legal repercussions.
American work ethics are being slandered by the illegals and pros.
It's time to secure our borders, remove all illegals and focus on Americans and legal immigrants needs first.

Because some of them let in legal immigrants. New zealand wants more and can't get enough. Japan get's theirs from the Philipines.

Because the other countries are not being run by a passel of monkeys like ours is being run.

better if we outsourced our Congress.

Because too many Americans want to become rich for doing very little. So, any job that requires work and that does not let you buy a 4 bedroom, 3 bath house and a Mercedes in six months is beneath us.

Businesses also want to increase their profit margin so they can have the big house, fancy car, a boat, and a vacation house in Aspen.

It is impossible to compare Japan and the bunch considering our GNP is a minimum 10 times greater than theirs.
Consider this, if our unemployment is 4 1/2% or 8 million people and there is 12 million illegals even if the 8 million decided to take on work below there skills you're still short manpower.
