Instilling Fear into Illegal Immigrants is this how it should be for people who break the law ?

A national immigrant advocacy organization claims that increased job-place raids and immigration sweeps are 鈥渋nstilling fear鈥?in immigration communities.

To which I say, Good! Illegal immigrants should be fearful 鈥?every single day that they are in this country illegally, they should feel the breath of the law breathing down their necks. Every moment they are here should be filled with dread and anxiety about getting caught and deported back to Mexico.

In fact, we should step it up all over the country, until it鈥檚 so difficult and so scary to come here illegally and stay here illegally, that eventually fewer and fewer will do it.

For too long our enforcement of our immigration laws has instilled anything but fear in those who would break those laws.

The next thing you know the Police are going to start to instill fear into the drug dealing community.

The next target group could be bank robbers.

I myself believe that the Oklahoma and Texas State troopers are instilling fear in me because I have a tendency to drive fast on the Interstates.

The fact is that if you are committing a crime then you should have to fear getting arrested and fined. If you do not what are we paying the Police for?

It is sad that we HAVE to strike fear into anyone's minds or lives but it is HIGH time we do so.

If the laws in the US were enforced properly, this would no be needed. A stich in time saves nine. Now we got nine to pay.

Ice is not doing it's job if it's not striking fear into those who are here illegally, why are one group of people, the illegals, think that somehow enforcing our laws infringes on their wants and needs. What part of illigal do they not understand

"Native" Americans were not always here. They came here from somewhere else, so where do you get off claiming that it was "their" land?? The white man had just as much right to immigrate here as they did. Are you claiming that the "native Americans were allowed to immigrate here but the white man wasn't??? And why not?? Please explain, especially since they were WELCOMED by the 'native' Americans.

Sorry but when I as an American come into my own country and the government harasses me and I have to remind them that I'm an American and they have to let me in, that is where I draw the line.

You're right, they should live in fear. And to the person who asked about basic human decency, I give no such consideration to a person who willfully breaks the law. These people you refer to have ZERO respect for this country, our laws, or the negative effect their illegal presence has on true, hard working Americans.

THE article states; Federal authorities froze the restaurant chain's bank accounts and seek to seize $ 3. 5 million worth of property allegedly purchased with money made from employing illegal immigrants - including the family's four homes, five restaurants and a warehouse. **** it's just a matter of time before they go after the individual. illegal immigration is just that illegal and as such ANY money earned illegally or assets can be seized by a law enforcement agency. ICE, IRS and local police are all law enforcement agencies. illegal immigrants are working illegally in the U.S. which makes their assets subject to seizure. citizens know this can be done, however illegal immigrants don't. now in an attempt to stay in the U.S. and lay low they may just lose everything. think of it in all other circumstances law enforcement does seize assets purchased with monies gained illegally and they don't care if it's community property or not. they do not do the homework to figure out what may have been earned legally by a spouse, it all goes!!!! it wouldn't surprise me to see the IRS and local law enforcement trying to get a piece of the pie. there are plenty of frivolous lawsuits by the ACLU, businesses and religious entities. it's not unreal to think that an effort to recoup some of the expenses will not spur this on. this could definitely come to pass. ***** full article on the link!!!!!

Speak for yourself. My problem with people who take a hard line regarding enforcement is that you often demonstrate a lack of basic human compassion. We're not talking about murderers or child molesters. We're talking about people, many with families, some with children who are US citizens.

I don't understand why you whites fight so much and are so worried about this immigration problem, or is it that you are all scared that the illegal immigrants are going to start shooting and killing all of you whites just like you guys killed all those Native American Indians and then took their land?
