I live in the uk and bf lives in italy we are getting married and we have decided to settle in uk.?

my question is that when he first comes here will he be able to get a job straight away earning more than the minimum wage of 5.52 per hour he has done schooling and is not looking to do any more as we both have to work to pay the bills and i cant support him alone on my wages also we cant apply for benefits as for two years we have to show we can live without help in public funds. serious replys only

my partner is a resident in italy and has a ghana passport he speaks very gud english with no trouble and doesnt have an accent he can do any job but the only skill he has is textiles which is in a clothing industry. when we get the spouse visa he is able to work in the uk regardless.

It depends on whether he has any skills. I may be wrong, but from what you've written, it doesn't seem as though he can 'do' anything. If that is the case, then a minimum wage job as an unskilled labourer might be the only option he has. Also, as he is foreign, his language skills will be scrutinised.

Serious answer - OK - WHY? would you want to live here when you have the opportunity to live in Italy where he has a job - and you have the opportunity to teach English to people and earn good money.

Is he actually Italian - he holds an Italian passport? Because if he does, then of course he can get a job in the UK. Italy, like the UK, is part of the EU and we can work anywhere within it.
The minimum wage is a legal requirement. He could probably get a job in a restaurant to start off with.
If however, he is not Italian and is from outside the EU (your question suggests as much - the two year rule), then he will need to get his spousal visa amended to allow him to work in the UK as well.

tell you what ,you must be joking
life in Italy is so much better than UK,jobs ,gov system, food ,weather, now England is a nightmare especially for the new immigrants ,it's not easy for them to find a nice job ,the polish took everything + life get more expensive+there is anti-immigrant movement is working oh
think twice. Italy is wonderful

Serious answer. Why not go to Italy and save yourself all that bother.

go live out there, it will be too much of a culture shock for him, and he wont make any friends, you obviously like italians so get out there in the sun

everyone has own idea ! his own mind ! no one know about other mind or idea !

if your B/F and you want to settle in UK so its ur own mind nd if ur boyfriend is searching job in UK so i think its good for him to go here http://www.autocareerz.com/ and find job for himself !
