Opinions wanted for ppl in uk/ireland or whever what do u all think of animals in the cicus right r wrong?

just doing a survey 4 my job. i work in the irish society for prevention of cruelty to animals thanx 4 ur time

I'm British, female and 42. I don't know of anybody at all whom I have ever met in my entire life who thinks animals in circus's (?) are O.K.

for elephants and big cats it is awful, Horses are maybe no worse off than anywhere else.

I'm Irish & 35. I certainly went many times to the circus as a child & saw animals performing. We considered this normal & never really thought about their conditions.

Now as an adult i would not see animals performing in a circus as acceptable. Something like the Cirque du Soleil is a much better idea & i wouldn't hesitate to go to something like that. This emphasizes the use of humans as performers & does not make use of animals.

im totally against the use of animals in the circus, i will not go to a circus that involves them and if i ever have children they will not be allowed to go to them.
