Does anyone know of any American companies located in Irleand? |
I would love to have a professional job in Ireland. Right now, I am an Academic Advisor at a university but I can do most office work. I am even considering Irish companies that recruit here in the states. Mellon Global Investments Dublin Ireland 20-22 Lower Hatch Street Dublin Ireland You could go to www.Mellon.com Great American company to work for. Source(s): Mellon employee. The Irish economy is a very competitive one to find a job in right now given high levels of immigration of skilled workers from Europe and increasing unemployment following years of prosperity dubbed the Celtic Tiger. Most American companies do business in Ireland as the government offer tax incentives for non national companies to base their business there and may have Irish managers so it won't be enough to get a job with them because your American. You also need to decided where exactly you'd like to work Dublin, Cork, Galway, Belfast, Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland? In terms of getting a work visa for Ireland your best bet is to find a firm in the US that will give you the opportunity to travel to Ireland on a temporary work visa or an Irish firm recruiting in the US- few and far between I'd imagine. I suggest you be a lot more specific and do more research on where in Ireland you want to work and what you'd like to do.Its not as easy as you'd think I'm afraid There's hundreds of them over here. For example computers, I work for IBM, we have Dell, Intel. there's American pharmecutical companies, even starbucks is here now. www.irishjobs.ie www.jobs.ie www.monster.ie These are Irish job websityes that might help you start off on your way. |
