Should I take the job back in the US?

I am settled here in Ireland six years. House, car, job, etc. Recently there was some union disputes, a strike was called off at the 23rd hour. I decided to research some jobs back in the USA. Got an offer for 2X the money I am on here. But my partner is Irish and she will have to stay here at least for a while.

Definitely take the job in the USA, however, before you leave, make arrangements for a visa for your partner to enter the USA, then have your partner file for permanent residency once you are here together.Would have to be a mutual decision, and if you have other family there as well. Don't just come for only the money, you have to be secure enough here as well. And how how long is "a while"...when you're away from your partner.
If you want to.
i dont know enough to help you....... it depends on like: what kind of a situation would you be leaving her in- how close are the two of you- and what could you do, if anything, by staying there? i think you know whatever it is you have to do- but i geuss the results kind of suck.......but if you have to do something- then............
Nobody can tell you what to do you should talk to your partner about it and see how she feels about it. If the job security is better and they are going to assist you with your transfer cost and your partner is prepared to wait to join you then I would say go for it sounds like a good offer, but as I said in the begging it is something only you can decide.
Yes.
