I want to work with Google... as a software developer... what do I have to do?

Im a 19year old student in Ireland..... Want to make the right decisions to lead to a job like this...

Check out the goggle information page, I was on their a while back when i was looking for a job and I think they where hiring.

Contact Google, ask them the prerequisites.
Get a job there
Try contacting them

Google don't emply many s/w developers compared to other s/w houses.

Are you chasing the name ?

To keep your options open you'll need to get a computing or engineering degree.
Contact Google for details of current vacancies and job descriptions. This will give you an idea of what they're looking for even if you don't get a job with them straight away. Also find out about relevant degree courses -your local reference library should have prospectuses for most colleges and Universities in your area. If you have a degree already, it might be worth looking into doing an MA, as this will help you to stand out from the crowd when applying.
