Where should I live?

Hi I'm moving In with my boyfriend in April. He is from Reading and has a job there, but to be honest I'm not mad about the place! I'm from Ireland and went to university in Bath, and really like places with a little more culture...(sorry Reading people I love you really haha)
I have been to Windsor and really loved it! but I have looked about renting there and it's a little on the pricey side for me.
So I'd be happy if anyone has any ideas of places I could live in the south east of England that are not too expensive but have some charm or culture to them?

if you can find a place in the south east thats not expensive tell the rest of the uk but i think the problem is with you and your fella

Go abroad! Italy, Greece, Bulgaria - these are places where you can find history and culture.
Why don't you try somewhere in Cambridge, it is a very nice city and is full of interesting people and full of history aswell.
Windsor is part of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead so try the Maidenhead side of it a little or look at places like Bourne End and Marlow as they are quite nice.
