How do you go about moving to another country?

I want to get away for a few years. Try something completely new. I don't have anything really holding me back right now except for my mom and a few other family members and friends. I was thinking of the netherlands, or maybe ireland or germany. I have a friend in germany already. What kind of proccess does one have to go through to do this? Is it hard? How is employment in these countries? Could I easily find a job? What about housing? What are prices like?

One thing you can do is get employment in any country of your choice before you get there. There are agencies who specialize in that. Do that, because getting a job in another country is painstaking process and it has to do with whom you know. Now Germany is a good choice is a strong economy, however it is hard to find a good job, unemployment in Europe is high at the moment and the cost of living is also high. Many people are able to find jobs teaching English in foreign countries, this could be a good way to achieve your dream.
