Good place for info in Ireland?

I live in Germany but am looking to take a job in Ireland. where can I get info on such things as housing...electricity amps (220-110) and other useful info? maybe a ride from the airport to my interview....sounds funny but I'm an american and I dont know nothing about where I am going...is there alot of men that ask questions like this, or am I the only one?

This site http://www.citizensinformation.ie/catego... has lots of info on housing, employment, education and moving to Ireland. Electricity supply is 230 V with frequency 50 Hz and we use 3-pin plugs.http://www.dochara.com/info/electricity/

All the info you need:

http://www.visitireland.com/

Good luck!

some web sites for housing are www.myhome.ie or www.daft.ie

The electricity supply is by the ESB, so its www.esb.ie

there is no direct rail route from Dublin airport, but there are plenty or taxis and buses, if you want to get the bus its www.dublinbus.ie

(you can nearly guess all those websites!!)

good luck with the interview, and enjoy the craic when you get here!! (that means have good fun)

Do you have a job, or are you going to get one?
