Can anyone tell me which company directs the calls for 999 in republic of ireland please? |
I used to work for BT in the UK, we answered the 999 calls and directed them to either fire, police or ambulance, and id like to do that job again but I dont know which company to apply to!! Help! I think it is Eirecom that provide this in conjunction with the local HSE (NHS) district. All 999 calls in Ireland are answered by a Telecom Eireann operator, calls are then redirected to the appropriate emergency service. There is no central telecoms office for emergency calls these operators are dotted throughout the country. |
