Why jobs are sending to india? |
Why jobs are sending to india? Labor is inexpensive. The workforce is extremely knowledgeable and has good experience. Cheaper pay! Jobs pay less in India the dont have to pay the staff as much, and legal right are less. Because you can get people there to work for less than 1/8 the cost of Americans working. Plus, with Voice over IP (VOIP), the costs of the international phone call is next to nothing. Less money and more people and equipment. Bangalore is the great city of IT in India. I see two big reasons: (1) Cost of labor is much cheaper than other countries; (2) Job force is growing rapidly (lots of people, especially in low-level engineering jobs). There are a lot of risks with sending work overseas. Working for four companies now that have all sent work overseas, I've seen it be successful once and fail three times. Most of the time the cost savings aren't as significant because quality and productivity are much less. It is also difficult to communicate (culture and time difference). However, if you find good people and manage projects well, it works. Eventually, the labor markets will catch up as the economy further globalizes and there will be less labor arbitrage. At that point, the outflux of jobs will be less noticeable. |
