Is manager in Insurance is a high profile job in india?? |
my boyfriend is working with an insurance company in india as a junior lavel manager. Is this job is ok for a bright future???? If he's working in management and not on a sales level, then he's moving up the corporate ladder. Perhaps you might want to clarify with him what his responsibilities are. If he's in charge of other insurance advisers, then honestly, his job prospects are not really that bright. May b it is ok but for bright future!!!!!!!!!! I doubt sure anything where you travel around the world makes it that much more important companies would look at it like your company thought that much of you to send you to their global branches wow. Well its a okay job, not very bright sorry i dont know.. Does your b/f know you have asked this question? Then I feel sorry for him. How bright you want your future to be? Do you want him to give you a guarantee that one day he will own that insurance company? He is young and with the right attitude and hard work he can surely come up rank and file in that company or in any other organisation. Don't treat him like a money-making machine. If you truly love him, give him the support and learn to face reality. Insurance is a growing field in India. The insurance penetration as far as individual cover is low. Earlier insurance was a monopoly of the nationalised companies, but with the entry of private players there is lot of competition. However, since you haven't mentioned the exactly nature of his responsibility, ie. whether he is in sales, marketing, finance etc, it would be very difficult to give a specific answer. With the Indian economic sustaining a more than 8% growth in the last three years, the job prospects in all the sectors looks bright. If he is a bright chap, then he should be able to take advantage of the situation and should be able to jump into another company at a better salary and designation. Cheers |
