What are the odds that an experienced French can find a job in a U.S. company?

I am a French living in France, and I benefit of more than ten years of professional experience in advertising. I have been Art Director, copywriter and Manager. Have I any chance to interest a U.S. company in sending my r茅sum茅 to it?

You have a very good chance. I suggest you first mail to New York City firms exclusively because they will appreciate an international flavor much more than many other areas of the country. Be as polite as possible because the French have lost much of their appeal in the US because of their criticism of The US's handling of terrorism. Also, most American tourists have been treated arrogantly by French people when they travel to France. You could also try Canada - There's a huge french population in Quebec. The country is also bilingual, so speaking the two languages is very very well regarded.
