Marrying a Frenchman & Moving to France? |
My Fiance has told me that since I am marrying him, there are a lot of legal loopholes I can avoid since I am not exactly starting "fresh" when I arrive. I will live in his flat and his pay will support me until I get a job and/or in school. Since he is establish in France, and a citizen, what should I do? I have found testimonies from people all over the globe who moved to France with their spouses, or who married some citizen of France and decided to move back to years later, but I've found nothing to help me out. I don't want to contact the FR embassy in the US if I don't have to. Could I go to France on holiday and while I'm there on a 3 month stay, marry? Or is it better to start the process here? Every marriage process requires lot of paperwork in your own country.... medical, proof that u can get married and so on, he should know better and ask for u what are local laws... i can tell u for sure it's not so complicated like getting married in usa..... why go to France you should go to England it is loads better |
