France?????

Hey all, so i've got a question for ya...

I am planning on going to France, for roughly 10 months, to live and work there (learn the language, culture, ....)

Now, before i go on, let me tell you this. I am from Austria (although currently in America) and i have both Citizenship in the USA and in Austria. I also have a European Passport.

So, i have heard it shouldn't be tooooo awful hard finding a job, since im in the EU, but can anyone give me some tips please?

I don't speak french yet, very little, but i attain languages very fast.

I am looking for maybe personal experiences, tips, hints, tricks, ....

Maybe job help, location, (good places to start) and ANYTHING of the sort.

I have a really good french friend at work, but i would like to keep ALL doors open.

ANY AND ALL HELP IS GRRRRREATLY APPRECIATED........CHEEEERSSS!!!!! ^_^

Since you evidently speak English fluently the best bet for a job is clearly going to be teaching English as a foreign language.

The employment situation in France is pretty dire with unemployment rates above 9%. Finding work in France is not at all easy and I can't imagine why anyone would tell you differently.

And ho many thousands euros do you want to earn monthly ?

I agree with Rilifane
Though theoretically beeing Austrian and by this beeing an EU citizen means you have the right to live in France.
Not knowing the language is not a big help getting a job there.
I would consider doing a course before going to France.
If I can be of any help don't hesitate to contact me through my profile as I am binational German and French by birth and have lived in both countries.

cleaning? you are very restricted if you can't speak French
