What's your opinion on France's growing muslim problem?

France's muslim population is getting a big problem as they grow in number. They're a little less than 10% but their high fertility rate and the ongoing immigration could make them a majority in France and in other European countries sooner than one may think.

Problem is that they're source of violence and crime, they refuse to adapt to western society and they blame the governement for all their problems, the slightest accident is pretext to new riots.

For fear of being labelled a racist, all polticians, liberals or conservatives, except the far-right, stay "politicaly correct" and say that the problem is social, that these people are poor victims of a ferociously racist society giving them no chance to find a job and to succede because of discriminations. They comfort muslims in their victimisation process, giving them more reasons to hate this country and its people.

Fact is that a lot of muslim are racist and can't stand anything not muslim. They refuse to adapt to western society and they're just in France for the generous welfare social system. They have a lot of children to get a maximum money, but then they let these children alone, in the street and they become young delinquants and future criminals. They represent less than 10% of the population but they're 60% of inmates in prisons, such a figure clearly demonstrate a problem.

Worse is that a lot of people believe in the social theory, that muslim are victims of a racist society where they have no chance of success because of discriminations. Some muslims start to believe this even though they never suffer discriminations in their life. There is of course some racism and discrimination, but it's not so widespread and someone who works hard at school, graduates can find a job.

Ok I give you my opinion.

This is not an only French problem it is a problem for all non muslim state because of world muslim conquest.
They start in France because of socialist government who give a lot of money for many children etc...

replace the word muslim with black and you have the same scenario in the southern states.

it begins with integrating their children to learn the best of their culture and ours.

The problem is that we alienate their children thus keeping the problem running for generations,,

France is in for a long hard battle against barbarians whom France made the mistake of letting in their country! Hold tight and wait for the storm and we Americans will only help out when France apologizes for its complete disrespect for the USA. We will just watch until France repents.

The French do not have freedom of speech, as U.S. citizens do. Still, I will abide by their conventions, so as to not offend my French brothers and sisters.

THEY are not MUSLIMS, they are YOUTHS.

I'm curious as to where the hell you get your facts. A majority of that is all biased or just racist. They aren't parasites, or a disease...

Its unfortunate that France is so anti - anything non French -- but it seems that it is better that people open their minds and see that diversity isn't always a bad thing. When a group feels cornered, unrepresented and disillusioned, that is when you get the problem in France with the Muslim youth. With enfranchisement and equality in the state and among the French commoners - comes peace.

Sorry but i've been in France once and looked to me like french people are very racist, this black girl hopped in the train, and everyone looked down at her, like if there were an invisible force no one wanted to be next to her, she took a sit, and the old woman by her side stood up and left, the train was crowded and the seat next to her yet empty, i sat in there and tried to made some conversation but she gave me a weird glare and turned her head into the opposite direction and started reading... i thought she was really used to that so she just didnt' said a word, and i thought that the people in the train was being very rude.... just my opinion . . .

This is a growing problem many western countries will soon have to deal with.

It will be very interesting to watch and see how different countries handle it.

You sound a little racist.

You don't understand society.

You are whining too much and need to get a life.

You call them 'immigrants', but in fact, they frequently appear to be folks that should be called illegal aliens.

An issue appears quickly in the processes. The illegal aliens want the home boys refused jobs while they are provided jobs. I would have to do a lot of research on the issue, but it would also appear there are a lot of folks having kids in France that cannot afford to send their kids to schools, or get into a decent sized home.

There are lots of nebulous ideas in all of this post. I will leave my comments here: illegal immigration has been, and perhaps still is, a serious problem for all of the countries in Europe. At the same time, the fertility rate in the Middle East needs to be controlled in any manner the Middle Eastern Folks wish... but the children should not be sent to Europe.. rather the Middle East should make those plans that employ their population.

This is a growing problem in all of Europe. People are too scared to do anything about it. I mean they lost it when those Danish cartoon were published.

There are problems everywhere. Look at the UK, a four years ago there were Race riots involving Whites and Muslims. Two years ago there were Race riots involving Blacks and Muslims. 40 years ago there were race riots involving Blacks and everyone.

The big problem is that certain groups are not integrating into the local communities and creating ghettos and no go areas. The governments have backed down over most things due to the fear of being called racist. Can anyone explain how positive discrimination is better than normal discrimination. This putting one race above another has created distrust and dislike between people of ethnic origin, mainly due to the abuse of these new laws (Birmingham and your ethnics first in council houses is wrong).

Boomer Wisdom - French don't have freedom of speech like American do, what a load of rubbish. The French have more freedoms of speech than any country. It is customary to strike for any reason and public protests are extremely common. The patriot Act states that it is illegal to protest against your own government, lots of freedoms there.

XxRemyxX - The French can be racist, although nothing compared to how racist America is. My fiancee was beaten up in St Louis simply because she was white. The metro in St Louis has white and black carriages, I've never seen that anywhere else. People look in and only go to the carriage with their colour in.

Well France.....poor france. What can I say it is a growing problem. And many Frence are angry that immigrants are stealing their jobs. The french are already having problems with a stupid 35hr work week(stupid socialists), and that bad economy. I'd say let the immigrants come in, and force the frence to change for once. They sure as heck need a change!!!!
