Im so bored, im in this little town in France?

Im teaching here for a year...i dont like it...i have a few friends but not many...i live with a roomate thats a guy and im tired of it...there is not a lot to do...especially on Sundays...NOTHING is open...its cloudy all the time and rainy. I dont like my job, the kids drive me insane. Im going home to visit next month. What can i do in the meantime to not go insane??

and ps im really lonely! It would be nice to have someone that genuinely loved and wanted me.

Maybe make better friends with your roomate! He might have some ideas on what you can do.
You should try talking to more locals, and just walk around to observe everything.
