I am from the states and have been emailing guy in france for a year-we haven't met yet?

but e-mail everyday-he is single but his job requires long hours and when he wanted to get together I was unavailable because of previous plans. he would e-mail me everyday even if just to say have a nice day. we have developed a strong connection-have alot in common. he went on a business trip for five days but i have not heard from him for two weeks. should i be concerned? does someone just stop communicating after a year? is it a guy thing? please advise. i like him...

Yes, unfortunately that does happen. With email relationships, it's impossible to tell. When I was younger I had an email relationship with a guy in a different state, and after 8 years it just stopped. Or it could totally be a guy thing. Or he might have found someone in his area to date and feels guilty...Unfortunately I wish I could say for sure, but there are thousands of reasons. My advice is move on, and if you get another email, yay! If not, it was nice while it lasted, go out and meet a hottie in your area that you can cuddle with!

owww. Ummm, I wouldnt trust this guy. I have heard so many stories of these things happening to ppl. Some ppl will "talk" or "date" online to gain feelings/trust from the other person then ask for money, gifts, etc. just to be using them. If he was only supposed to be gone for 5 days and its been 2 weeks...maybe he is just done with you. Or maybe he lost his internet.

Thats a little weird.., and I think you should meet him just in case hes some freeky molester....
