What are we to do ??? My husband's farm has folded . He is 55?

We were farming in the Czech Republic . It has gone under and we are left with nothing except a house here which is not worth very much . We have been here for 5 years . My children were born in France and so their english written work is not good enough to return to UK. My eldest takes his czech o levels this year.
My husband has a degree in economics and although he worked at Lloyds for a few years he has been a farmer all his life . The pay here is awful for a junior office worker or a factory worker or english teacher ( about 5000 a year or less) . He has been in the UK working in a factory from September but now there are no jobs after Christmas.
Can anybody think of anything he can do ... Any jobs in the middle east ?
or anywhere to get us on our feet again ro should he retrain ???
Thank you very much for your answers

We are both english

do not go to the middle east. they are about to declare war over there because of Iran.

I have no idea what to tell you. I was laid off my job last year. God is providing for me. You both will have to search within yourselves to look for other talents you have that you can use....things that strongly motivate you and interest you. In the meantime, just to survive, be willing to do anything you are physically or mentally able to do, while you think about it.

you have my concern and prayers.

The job market is hard everywhere and when the season changes the market changes as well but the only thing we can do is try to adopt to the change. Try to find a job in another field but stay with the farm thing if that is what you like but start it off small ....well good luck

I would suggest you both read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, and the The Science of Getting Rich by W.D.Wattles.

I would also suggest he begin writing and submitting articles to economics and or agricultural websites, magazines, book reviews, or write his own book...

I gave Angel Wings a thumbs up. I'm a little confused, are you a UK citizen a Czech Republic citizen or French citizen??
I have something here that you might want to take a look at. I don't know what country your a citizen in so I don't know which web site to send you to. If you would like more information on something that I know a lot of people from different countries are getting involved in, email me and tell me which country your a citizen of and I'd be happy to send you some information to a company that I think can help you out.
Good luck to you and God Bless.
I'll be praying for you too.

Your Husband has many talents. Being a farmer teaches them all the life skills, Banking, agriculture, business, eguipment repair and parts knowlege, and a general all aroung maintenance guy. The field is wide open in any trade for him. There are driving jobs in Iraq right now that pay more money in one month than you have seen in a year. He should try that.

I have a home based business in partnership with a major company, the opportunity is not yet available in the Czech Republic but it will becoming there sometime soon.
However if you are both English you might be able to register a business in the UK and build it the countries in which it operates just now,
I must point out however it is a business it will not provide a huge income straight away, but it can grow to be very substantial.
If you care to email me I will send you on a web address which will give you an overview of the opportunity.
