HELP! married, good job and want babies... but other options?

Folks,
I am 30 yrs old, have a good job I enjoy, my husband work abroad for 9 months of the year and have a 9 yrs old daugther. I have two options:
1- can take a PHd program in mexico and get some sunshine, my girl learn some spannish, but forget about babies and good money for 3 yrs. but we could get our tax back for the last 4 yrs ~ 拢100k
2- carry on with my job, get pregnant in july - oct and deliver a baby by July 09, move to france for a year and learn some french, get tax back for 2 years only.

what do you say

Go with option number 2 if you want a baby, it's not as if your getting any younger and your daughter will most certainly benefit from the experience.
France is a fantastic country, the standard of living is high, the food is delicious and the people are very friendly. I think you'd really enjoy it.

If I wanted a baby I would go with number 2. It doesn't seem like a bad alternative.

well you will have to decide if more children are the most important or not. then just decide what city you would rather live in

Is it the money or your family that is more important to you? Work will always be there, you can always go back. However, there is a limited window of opportunity to build your family.

you will have to inform the "baby" of your schedule LOL

you do know these things cannot be planned like a military operation dont you? and with your hubby gone 9 months your odds are not good
this isnt a decision that should be based soley on how much money you will get back, it should be whats best for your family

Option 2

get pregnant and save humanity.....and babies are cute i love them. life is priceless ok.

Either option is great. It could be worse.
two years isn't a long time. Take option 1, then go to option 2 when your done with things. Having a PHD could make things much easier when you have a child if something does go wrong with your job. I say cover your basics first, cause you can always fall back on them when times are rough

You do you. God Bless.

france versus mexico... is it really a choice?

Do you want children a job or money sounds like you want it all id forget the child seems [he or she] wouldn't have a mother to raise them

The more you think about it, the more you realise there is just one option - that's Option number 1. You stand to gain everything and lose nothing. Your PhD could open more career options. Also by the time you finish you'll only be 33 or 34 years old which is still a good time to have another kid. Getting that tax money back would also help!

enjoy pregnancy, take baby,go abrod, enjoy, husband. lol

i think you should do number one
