Wives. Are you, or someone you know, delaying pregnancy? Do you mind annonymously sharing why?

Is it money? Is it the cost of raising more children, or are you worried about missing work? Do you know the "pregnancy leave" benefits & conditions you might face.

I hear women in France get THREE years maturnity leave PLUS a guarantee that they'll get their job back. In Qubec I think it is 2 years. Etc. Would the extra year make a difference?

If it's the cost of raising more children, would giving up the baby for adoption to a barren sister be an option to solve both problems?

Do you wait because he's not ready?

Are you saving the world by limiting population in your own little way?

Is the behaviour of your child keeping you from going through all of that again.

Did the death of a child keeping you from going through all of that again.

We are all un-named Yahoos, just going by knicknames. No one will know who it is. Maybe it is not you, but a friend or loved one in this situation. Share if it feels good to talk. We're just name-less friends!!!

I myself have a child and just wanted to not be a single parent and I am not, but I know plenty of men and women who give excuses of wanting to "have it all together" or "have money saved up" or whatever excuses that take forever to come to fruition instead of just saying they are scared.

Other countries do offer better leave than this country. I have a friend in Ontario and they can take up to a year's leave with pay and still have their same job when they come at the same pay.

All the rest of those reasons you gave are all what others would consider "legitimate" but what we must realize is that the world needs to procreate to continue to exist. So no matter what, people will have kids.

Give me one reason that is not selfish about having children
