Leaving the past behind for a happier future !?

For twenty quid, leave the past behind (no drugs involved).
Maybe your past makes you depressed so focus on the future and be happy today !
Book a ticket now on the next boat leaving the UK.
Go for a day trip abroad. Sleep on the boat.
Drink in the bar, dance, be happy and celebrate your freedom !
Explore France, or Ireland, or Norway, or the Netherlands the next day, call in sick to work, you can buy a phone card at the port of arrival.
Then return on the boat and goto work as normal the day after tomorrow.
Unless you find a job tomorrow in you new country then you could stay there.
More pay, better benefits, lower interest rates, lower rents, happy !
LEAVE THE PAST BEHIND !
Thats my advice, don't suffer pain from your past and make a new happier future for yourself !
Thats what i did, works for me, why not give it a go ?

Good luck and don't miss the boat!

That sound's great. I have so many times thought of just moving on or away from where I am. But for me I'm to scared. I have had the same job for 10 years (love my job) my husband built me my house (how I love it) So I guess for me I just like where I am. In New Jersey with a messed up Government a crappy President to boot and very high taxes. But her who's complaining. LOL ! That's Awesome you had the courage to move on. My husband would in a minute.

who the f**k are you, judith bloody charmers!
happy trails.lol!

And your question is?

I did all that...got the sack and ended up drinking Buckfast wine from a brown paper bag.

All for 拢20?
that'd be great

You take yourself wherever you go. The past is not left behind, it's there inside you. How you think, feel, behave, experience the world - all of this is from the past and it can't be otherwise.

If the changes have already happened inside you and what is holding you back is the expectations of the people you're with, you don't need to go abroad. You don't even need to move to another place in your country. You could just start seeing different people. It's a lot cheaper and you could stay in contact with the things you like about where you are!

I would answer but I didn't understand the question - hey ho at least I get two points : -)

I can do that only figuratively. I do need my job you know...
