Long distance couples?

My boyfriend went to France for a month for school. I knew he'd be busy but he's been sending short, fast emails with basically no information. When I called him on it and said I feel brushed aside and that I didn't realize that our relationship would be put on hold, he said our relationship has to be put on hold in a way because he's making new friends. Did you feel this way too, like you had to put your relationship on hold to deal with your new life, whether it was a job move or for school? Or were you able to make room for your partner, even though you had all these other things going on? If you were the partner who felt brushed aside, how did you deal with it?

If he's not making the effort, forget him. He's not worth it.
YOU shouldn't have to be the only one trying.
I'm in a long distance relationship, but my boyfriend would never treat me like that (and I wouldn't put up with it if he did.)

Currently in a long distance relationship. I do all I can to make him a part of my life, and he does too! Its important to make sure that the lines of communication are open. Someone who you are committed to, who means a lot to you, deserves to know that. And actions speak louder than words.

he should make you feel love now he's far away. he's kind of selfish thinking only of his self. don't call him and see if he will remember to call you.
