What can i do, i feel trapped in every sense of the word ?

im 30, i have big goals and hopes in my life still. i want to move back to europe, with an ok job, living in a small coastal town, with a loving girlfriend.

but ive been through so much and im starting at such a late stage at so many disadvantages in life..

i have a minor criminal record, a mental health record....no employment history....i have borderline personality disorder....never gained any qualifications ever.

i live in a one bedroom flat in the uk on welfare pay, i live on a small council estate ( social housing in the states i think )....where yobs, gangs of hooligan teenagers live...they hang around in gangs....they fight...behave antisocially...race their cars...blast music.

i dont want to have anything to do with them, i just want to escape back to europe and build a new life....or maybe back to southern france where im from.

the teenage yobs, hooligans shout...act loutish..like british football fans, they even try to talk to me...like they know me, like im one of them

they act threatening...loud....vulgar...i hate it.

i hate them....i hate my situation.

but how can i leave get away, build a new life at the disadvantage im at ?

my original goal of moving outside europe is ruined because i have a record.

but i deffinatly dont want to stay in the uk no matter what.

but seriously i have to many obstacles, so what do i do ?

First of all, it's never too late to achieve your goals...especially at 30. At least you have goals. I know people twice your age that still don't know what they want out of life. If you want to move to Europe, then just pick up and go. It can't be any worse than the situation you are in right now. Doesn't sound like that staying where you are will get you where you want to be. Take a chance. At the age you are now, you can afford to take the risk. Don't wait until you are 5 or 10 years older to only find that you are still stuck where you are. Go live your dream. It's better to fail at attempting your dreams than to regret not ever trying.

there are other ways of getting jobs, without going to uni

for example

say your a woman, and you wanted to be a nurse, but you didnt get high enough grades in uni, school ect]

start by voluntering at homeless shelters, old people homes. if you give that all youve got, people will take notice and suggest diferent options

at interviews, dress well and dont talk too much

go to europe

you have to be strong. moving to another place is not easy, you should have a good financial level before trying to move. and for your living place now, it's better if you spend less time at home. if you are from southern france then you must have to have some relatives there, or if not relatives then maybe friends who can help you. ask them to get some infos about some apartments or other, :)

Maybe if you explain to the Welfare people, they can help to move to the countryside, where it is more peaceful and soothing.
I wonder if you could talk to them?
If not, you could write them the same message you have written here.
If you move to the countryside, you will have made a change.
It will still be within the U.K, so your crimnal record won't matter any more than now.
And it might help you feel better; making a change is always a good, first step to making more.
Chin up, Comte! Teenagers in huge groups are frightening for everyone, not just you! But if we want to see them as a threat, then they will become just that. Sounds as if they are not treating you violently! Many thanks for that!
It bothers you that they try to talk to you, but they don't know you have problems and hate that.
So, a small peaceful village somewhere might be good for you.

Perhaps, I can help you with this. As I am, a Life Coach. Contact me if you are interested.

Many Blessings,
Carol
