Differences between u and me?

ok these are some differences between u (USA) and me (france):
positive things here: we are against war, we have an excellente health care and education system (free and we learn more things), we have more public servicesand efficient, we are against death sentence, it's very difficult to find weapons, we have less fat people because our food is more healthy, u take the things too seriously and always from the money side, we are more critical towards our gouvernment
negative things: we are too lazy (less work, more holidays, always strike), here find a job it's more difficult because it's not based on your skills but on the friends u have, you take more risk in business than us... better for the economy, you have the best movies because u put money into,

can u tell me if we have a good view of your country or if it's only clich茅s of the USA...

another positive thing: we are not so patriotic, we don't use religion for everything (a lot of people here are atheist), we have (a little bit) a more open mind than u

Pretty close. Most Americans hate when people make generalizations about the USA because we like to believe we have something for everyone. We are a "melting pot" or as close as any other nation as come to being one. I think our biggest fault is that our people tend to be very opinionated based on little information. Our politicians and talk show personalities have a tendency to discredit or discount anything contrary to their beliefs, and the people have learned to do the same. I guess my point is I don't think of the US education system as being any less effective than those in other nations, just that the American people don't respect or learn as much from the education system as people from other countries.

we (USA) also like to castigate our politicians for sexual behavior and tend more towards the belief that might makes right. you (France) would do the same if you had the military industrial complex as intricately entwined in your political system.

i dont think you can ever sum up an entire country of people in a few short sentences.
there are people for and against war everywhere,
there are fat and skinny, hard working and lazy,
educated and uneducated people everywhere.
If you really want to know; why dont you visit and see for yourself.

if you come over to the U.S. again, watch out for the fat monkeys - they will rip you a new one.
