Best bet would be to contact universities, chambers of commerce, and vet businesses in western Canada - that is, the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

Alberta is BOOMING because of oil, so you may have some luck finding work with a vet (either working on pets or farm animals) in the province of Alberta. Get a phone book, dude, and start contacting some vets in Alberta. Call some farming companies too. Good luck.
