Canada provinicial nominee program?

How do I get a job in Canada and qualify under the provincial nominee skilled worker program?

Are there any agencies that help people who want to migrate to Canada find employment as part of their immigration services?

Are there any recommendations. Aplying on the usual websites produce no results so I am looking specifically for a recruiter that will work with me to find a job.

Each province or territory has different regulations for skilled worker applications and nominee programs depending upon what immigration needs they wish to fill. If you can, start searching jobs in your field to see if you can land a job offer, it makes a huge difference. Be prepared for it to take a while depending on your profession. Medical professionals for example, have a good shot for provincial or federal sponsorship, but the nominee programs are employer driven.

This is the federal Citizenship and Immigration Canada website. It tells you all the steps you would need to complete, and gives you a scale to determine if you would meet the requirements to be accepted. Age, education level, work experience, language proficiency and real offers of employment all contribute to your score.

There are agencies out there that will help you but will charge you a fortune for what you could do yourself. I am a long haul trucker and moving over in a couple of months (hopefully).

In my trade you approach a company and see if they are supported on the system, if they are then they tell you what info to submit then they announce you to the Gov then they send you the form you give to immigration when you land, his gets you the VISA. its only available in certain Provinces, Ontario doesnt do it.
