I got re-entry visa to Canada but my employer cancelled our contract,is it still valid to use the visa i have?

The Canadian Embassy issue me a re entry visa in Canada but my employer there that I supposed to work on cancelled our contract coz they hired already the position which im filling in.Now,I still want to go to look for another job in canada. Is the re entry visa they issued to me is still valid though i dont have employer?or should I apply again for another re entry visa.

All visa have expiration dates on them, you can still go as long as the visa is still valid, employer or no employer. Have fun and all the best on your job hunt.
If the company cancelled the contract then the visa you have in no longer any good. You'll need to reapply since the visa you have for for a different purpose than what your going there for. You could probably get in on what you have...but if immigration catches you not working on the contract you originally got the visa for you'll get deported and not be allowed to re-enter Canada. It would be better for you to do it the right way.
I used to issue visas.
