How to apply for a temporary job in Canada?

I'm a mid-teen just looking for some extra cash and wondering what steps there are in getting a temp job for just some extra cash. It doesn't matter where as long as i get adjustable hours and the work is just repetitive busy work with little social interaction.

Get a Social Insurance Number. There is no minimum age requirement although you will have to have some other identification, like your birth certificate. Without a SIN, you cannot legitimately work. That being said, the lack of a SIN does not stop you from putting up posters at your local grocery stores offering your services to mow lawns, scoop poop, help seniors with the heavy work in their gardens or any one of a number of other types of work.

However, once you have a Social Insurance Number, the employment opportunities are more varied.
