How easy is to get a job in Canada?

How easy is to get a job in Canada?

Most civil engineering vacancies are in Alberta and British Columbia and, depending on your qualifications, level of experience, your current country of residence and/or citizenship, you should find it easier to find a job there.

You may need to take a job lower down the food chain, to build up your local Canadian experience, but don't let that put you off trying.

If you are focused on getting a job in a specific province like Quebec, the best place to start looking is a specialist recruitment agency like http://www.technogenie.com/anglais/html/...

Otherwise, you should start with http://www.workopolis.com and sign up for their job mailing lists and submit your resum茅.
If you don't mind being a greeter at Walmart no problem
if you need to use your mind . . .

Depending of your career and what is the type of job that you want. It is not easy specially when you just arrive and the employeers ask you for 'Canadian Experience'...that obviously you don't have. I recommend you to publish different versions of your resume at www.workopolis.com, www.monster.ca, www.hotjobs.ca, and create a profile in www.linkedin.com to start networking.
