Job Vacancies in Omni Hotel Canada... is this for real?

I received an email from Rose Grand Christina regarding job vacancies at Omni Hotel Canada. Introduring herself as the Manager of the hotel. I verified this information to the Omni Hotel Canada and here was the replied from them:

"You have reached the corporate office for Omni Hotels. Thank you for your correspondence.

"Mrs. C.G. Rose", 鈥淐hristina Grand鈥?鈥淩oseling Anna,鈥?鈥淛enny M. Brown鈥?are not employees of any Omni Hotel, nor 鈥淢r. Paul Gill.鈥?br /> Please be advised, person or persons have been illegally using the Omni Mont Royal name and logo on the internet to perpetuate a fraudulent activity.

Omni Mont Royal is in no way associated with these activities. Please contact your local authorities or the Canadian consulate in your area.

There might be job vacancies at the hotel, but this particular email (the first one) that you received, is a fake, a scam. Do not believe them. Don't reply to the email address they gave nor click on any links in the email..

You should know this already because you already contacted the hotel personally and they already told you that the email you received was not an official email from them. Hotels do not send emails to people much less invitations for job openings unless you are in their mailing list, are you? Even then, you have to be careful.

It's a good thing you verified this with the hotel. Always be careful.
