Where can I get cheaper housing in Canada, but good paying jobs as well?

Where can I get cheaper housing in Canada, but good paying jobs as well?

You can generally get better paying jobs in the larger cities like Toronto. The bad part about this is that the housing in those areas is much more expensive. So a lot of people commute to work. Live in an outlying area for the cheaper housing to commute into work. Depending how far you are willing to travel each day this can work. I live in Mississauga and work in Toronto so it is a quick trip. Some people commute from as far as Barrie for even cheaper housing..

Work in the oil industry in Saskatchewan. Live in a very small town there.

Montreal and its suburbs on average have a lot lower prices for houseing than other big cities in canada.
also, since it is a big city, there are a lot of jobs available that pay a lot.
here is a site:

It depends on your qualifications and your business. The company that I work for has a division in a small city and I get paid quite well and the housing prices aren't too bad. My partner is an RN and she can go anywhere there is a hosipital and make a good wage. Don't expect to get a good paying job in some backwater with a degree in basket weaving but if you had your welding certificate then chances are you will have a good paying job. The more you get away from the large cities the more trades people are more in demand.

If you want a name try Halifax NS

Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan is starting to boom, business wise, but housing is still fairly affordable. Good luck!
