What Would be a good place to live in Canada? for new comers? and cheap and lot jobs? Alberta has the most jobs with the best pay, although it is all relevant as housing is much more expensive (ie: average home price in Calgary is $400,000), Edmonton has slightly cheaper housing, but again vacancy rates and housing prices have generally moved East to Saskatchewan, which is undergoing an influx of jobs and (not for long) cheap real estate. A lot of other immigrants move first to Toronto as it is multicultural and provides networks to other newcomers, although jobs are not as readily available and housing is expensive like any other major city. If it is work and money you are seeking, probably Alberta or Saskatchewan would be your best picks and Ontario third. if that their was a place that had every aspect your asking for If I was going to do it again I'd look more closely at Halifax NS, the cost of living is good but I haven't looked at the job situation there. It is the capital of NS and I think the largest city in the maritimes, it also houses the Canadian Navy's eastern fleet Calgary definitely if u like bobsledding lol |
