Does anyone can tell me about the Life in Canada?

Hi
i would like to know some information of Canada about
the cost of living,Cost of universities studies,is hard to get a job in Canada?,how canadians treat Inmigrants

Thanks i will be waiting for some answers

I'm moving to Toronto next year from the States. I heard it's more or less (even better) like an American City and different from the rest of Canada. I also heard it's quite expensive to live in but since I live in the East Coast, I doubt it will much different in terms of cost of living. Toronto is a very immigrant city (think of NYC) so I doubt you will be treated much differently. Getting a job depends on your field. But from what I know, because most people immgrating to Toronto are in the engineering/IT field, it can be very competitive to get a job in that area.
Check Yahoo Travel and Wiki. It will give you more information on Canadian cities. But I have heard only positive things on Toronto. I can't wait. I am finally getting my Permanent Residence in the next few weeks.

education is so cheap in Canada. Actually, you don't have to pay for any tuition if you're in highschool. The only thing you'll have to pay is the uniform and your ride. That is, if you're not planning to study in an elite school of course.

I see you are thinking about moving there too. I want to move there as well. As soon as I finish school with a Bac degree I am going to move there. I figure that Canada can't be worst than US. So I am so moving. It's a lot of stuff you have to have to get in. But if you truly want to go, then it shouldn't matter.
Later!!!

That's a very broad question and it would help if you were more specific. Cost of living is relative to what you are used to. Cost of living is less than half of what it is in most parts of Britain, IMO. We have a government-sponsored health system but it is hard to get a doctor. University is quite expensive for non-residents and I would suggest you contact the government of the province in which you are interested - e.g. Toronto is in the province of Ontario; Calgary is in the province of Alberta, etc. Jobs are harder to get than they once were but it really depends on what field you're applying for. As for how we treat immigrants, most of us treat them like anyone else as long as they behave like anyone else.
