Is it easier to get a job in Australia or New zealand?

just a clerk or admin job .. what is the pay like ? will u get around AU$1800 monthly? is it enuff to live in either australia or new zealand for monthly room rent and transport?

NZ$1800 may actually buy you a life in New Zealand. Deduct 20% taxes and health care, leaves you with $1440 to live on; rents can go as low as $500 per month (if it's a mortgage, that'll cover a house worth about $80.000 - rare, but exists, especially out in the little places), groceries the same if you are a one person only household, and do drink the odd bottle of wine; car insurance is about 30, petrol about 100, bank the rest for repairs and car stuff or property tax if you buy a house.

I research moving to Australia a couple years ago and found that it is rather difficult. You have to have a certain amount of education and experience in your field before they let you in, but it is different for each occupation. My particular field needs me to have three years experience in it before I can become a citizen, but I believe I can work there for that experience. With admin, I am not sure. I know, from being there, that the prices of things were roughly the same as here. Some things were cheaper, and some (like jeans) were much more expensive. I believe you can assume that you can earn at least $1800 and it will take you farther than it will living in New England. Also, I loved being there and am going back to visit, maybe even live someday.
$1800 monthly sounds a bit on the low side for a full time job.
$2500 sounds a bit more like the lower end of wages for this type of work. Good luck.
