Australia Universities??

I would like to know does universities play a very big part in employments? Im from Singapore. If i wana find jobs in australia and I am actually offered a place in Engineering in ANU at canberra. Is ANU good for engineering?
And I would like to know about Canberra, how is it like.
And also how about the accomodation at ANU? Any recommendations? Thank you!

Canberra is a nice city, not as busy as Singapore and you will certainly notice a drop in temperature! The ANU campus is huge and accommodation is well catered for. By following the above link you can also investigate all the other areas of the Uni you may be wondering about.
