What is the youngest legal age to get a job in Australia? |
I am in Western Australia and seeking a first job. You can get a paper round sort of job from age 10 in WA. You will need to have a parent sign a form agreeing to this though. Once you hit 14 you can start working in places like shops. I don't know about W A but in South Aus it's 14 Hey there I am in Queensland. Im pretty sure the age is 14. In Australia the legal age to get a job is 14. However, companies can set higher minimum ages, or create policies in regards to age. For example, at McDonald's there is a policy which states that if you are 14 you need permission from your parents in order to work there. I'm a Crew Trainer at McDonald's. |
