Hi can you please advice me what diploma and course i have to do to get retail banking job in australia? |
I did B.com and MBA's first year in india now i m in australia and i want to join banking sector so plz suggest what are the options for me in banking education in melbourne. G'day, As far as I know, you are already very qualified to work in banking sector, as I know they accept any university fresh-graduates, as long as they are doing well in their resume & interview. What sort of job do you want to apply? I have a feeling that the banks will not give you managerial level job straight away so easily, unless you already have some banking background work experience in India. My suggestion, do not mention your MBA background on your resume if you want to get ANY jobs in the banks (say teller or cust. services), as they will see you as over-qualified. Anyway... your local TAFE or college should have some courses in Banking. I suggest you to contact them first. Good luck on your job seeking & study :) |
