Advance diploma ? MAsteral? WOrk in Australia??

Hello, Im pam 24 years old, a registered nurse here in the PHilippines. HAd a bachelor's degreee in Nursing here in the PHilippines.. I really want to study in Australia, but i got confussed with ADVANCE DIPLOMA, CErtificationa and Masters in NUrsing? CAn you also give me advice in what course should I take and can get me a job in australia while working?? HElp me please.

OK Pam... these are the levels of studies in Oz:
High School
Certificate
Advanced Certificate
Diploma
Advanced Diploma
Bachelor
Graduate Certificate
Graduate Diploma
Masters
Doctors of Philosophy (PhD)

Based on your description, you MAY be able to study the masters program, however your qualification must be checked by the Australian university to be deemed equal to Australian Bachelor degree (since I dunno which uni you went to). You will need to fill in the application form and send it together with certified copy of your academic transcript. The admissions process will take abt 2-3 weeks, depending on the time of the year.

Abt work... well this is abit hard to anwer. Basically, if you come to Australia using student visa, then you can only work max 20hrs/week during schooldays and full-time during holidays period. Therefore it is hard to support yourself in Australia if using student visa.
If you come under skilled migration visa, you will be able to work full-time and study part-time, but the process will be alot longer, and MAYBE complicated, since your qualifications and experience will be under the microscope of the Nursing Board of Australia. However you can try to go to the nearest Australian High Comm/Embassy to get the information.

I guess at the end of the day, which one that you really want to do, work or study?
