Living in australia? |
will it be easy for an international student to obtain a job in Australia? will be completing my final year in swinburne and would like to look for a job in melbourne after graduating..what are the chances like? thanks. As pointed out above, if you are currently on a student visa, then you will need a new working visa before you can legally work in Australia after you have graduated. Once you have your visa, I imagine your chances would be the same as any other graduate's, i.e. they will depend on the demand for your particular qualification. Unless English is a real problem for you (and judging by the small sample of your question, I don't think it is) your chances of finding work in Australia at the moment are quite good. No idea If you are an international student, you would be on a student visa. To stay after you complete your course, you would have to apply for a work visa and this would depend on a lot of factors such as the industry your qualifications aim for. Ask your local DIMIA (Immigration) office. Depends on the type of work you want to do. I would get in contact with a recruitment company in your local area and they'll be able to help you out. There may be extra paperwork because you're an international student, but the recruitment company should be able to assist you. |
